We’re a little fanatical about A/B testing and optimization, and we’re proud of it. We have extensive A/B testing experience and work diligently to build a VICE testing framework that will create substantial growth in your conversion rates.
We do all testing based on the VICE Framework. The VICE Acronym stands for Velocity, Impact, Confidence, and Ease. Each area has a rating of 1-10 with 10 being the highest possible score. Overall we look for tests that rank in the high 20-30’s to be able to have confidence that the test will have an overall impact on business in the fastest possible manner.
The VICE Framework helped us increase conversions by 284% for BitFountain in the first month.
A/B Testing Through the VICE Framework
Below we’ll go through a breakdown of the questions you’d ask to work through the VICE framework.
- Velocity: How much traffic will your test receive on a Daily Average? We’re looking to find out how fast a test can be run and reach statistical significance on the variation.
- Impact: How much will your test affect conversions on the site? We want to be mindful of how much the test is focused on increasing conversions on the site and increasing overall revenue for the client.
- Confidence: Gut check time, how much confidence do you place in the test working? In time you’ll get better at accurately measuring this.
- Ease: How much development time will the test take to build out and run successfully? Each test will change the site. Some tests will be easier to launch than others depending on the coding and development involved on the backend.
